    January 3, 2010--Yogg 3 Light & Val

After the frustrations of only having 1 fragment, if that, drop per raid week,

we got the last frag right as Ice Crown was released.   The instability of the server

along with several main raiders leaving for xmas made for some ill attempts at 3 light.  We regrouped after the 1st of the year and did 3 light like we'd been

one shotting it for months.

       Many thanks to our wonderful raid force for all the weeks of clearing Uld
    to get the necessary fragments to complete another Legendary for our guild. 
     Your support during the last few frustrating weeks of us trying to get a
    stable server and raid force in to kill Yogg was incredible.  I appreciate
     each and every one of you and a big hug for all the healers carrying me through
     the fight as my pc was almost inoperable that night.

As we work through a few more Uld achievements, we got a nice one shot

With mid-terms and such, our getting the right class balance for some

achievements has been as challenging as the achievements themselves.  It all

came together tonight.

After running out of time at raid end and being so close, it was sweet to come back

After weeks of struggling with the Summer Boss, we finally got enough of the same

raid members in a few raids in a row to really get some good work on Yogg.  With

all the vacations, hackings, etc., every week had been like starting over.  Tater

tenacity paid off again and it didn't take us long once our group was consistent and

we had a few runs at Phase 3.  Summer Boss much more difficult than Yogg!

General fell our first night of working on him.  A few wipes to work out the

interrupts, tank cool downs and our dps and healers learning to not die to

from being greedy in the pools while regaining mana and we had him.

We learned a lot on our first night of working on Mimiron last raid week

and had our share of repair bills.  We came back in this week and

made sure he didn't get the best of us.  Nice job guys!

Right after we took Thorim down, we headed to Freya and even the interruption

of an earthquake mid-fight didn't slow our first kill from being a very

nice ending to our week.

Thorim gave us a bit of trouble on our first night. We got to where we could barely

keep the arena alive long enough to get the gauntlet down and got him to

about 25%.  With our rogues respec'd this week, we had the arena and gauntlet

under control and got Thorim with one of those "oh my God" kills where most

everyone has died.  As the last member alive, Percentn hit Thorim with a

1708 Exorcism and we won!

After taking out five bosses on our first night of this raid week, we came back

to Ulduar and added the Iron Council to our kill list.

With an awesome start to the raid week this week, we came to Ulduar

and took out Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, Deconstructor, Kologarn

and our first-time kill on Ingis the Furnace Master.

After taking out Sarth and the new Vault boss, we headed to Ulduar to end our

After distributing our loot from Flame Leviathan, we headed over to Razorscale and

As with most new content patches, the server was pretty unstable the first

week or so.  We were able to get in and work on Flame Leviathan our first night

 in Ulduar, but were unable to defeat the encounter with the constant

server crashes.  Our second raid to Ulduar was a bit better and we took

down Flame Leviathan easily.
